How a remodel starts
A remodel starts the same way as a painting job: a visit to your home to see the space and hear what you want to change, then a written proposal that sets out the scope, the materials and the timeline before any work begins. Damage found once walls or floors are opened, such as dry rot or water damage, is shown to you and quoted separately, and you decide whether to add the repair.
Because the painting and the remodel come from the same company, the finish work is planned from the start instead of handed to another trade at the end.
