Painting, not refinishing
Painting By Ken paints cabinets. We do not refinish them, which means we do not strip them back to bare wood for a new stain or clear coat. Painting gives you a new, solid color over the cabinets you already have.
Painting works best on cabinets that are sound: solid wood or well-built boxes and doors with no swelling or water damage. Peeling laminate and swollen particleboard do not hold paint well. At the estimate we look at the cabinet material and condition and tell you plainly whether painting makes sense.
